Web Data Connector to ZenGRC issues

    sblake

Full disclosure this is my first deployment of a dashboard that uses a web data source.

I created a report and connected the workbook to my ZenGRC data source. Works great!

I upload the report to the Tableau Server we have on prem and it correctly errors.

      Affected data sourceZenGRC API
      Error message

Unknown Failure (status code = 11000, Web data connector is not whitelisted)

Follow the instructions at Web Data Connectors in Tableau Server - Tableau I had a small issue with the TSM command

PS H:\> tsm data-access web-data-connectors add --name 'WTA WDC' --url https://integrations.zengrc.com:443/ --secondary

      https://integrations.zengrc.com:443/(.*)

.* : The term '.*' is not recognized as the name of a cmdlet, function, script file, or operable program. Check the

spelling of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

      +                    ~~

          + CategoryInfo          : ObjectNotFound: (.*:String) [], CommandNotFoundException

          + FullyQualifiedErrorId : CommandNotFoundException

If I removed the (.*) it let me execute the command and apply pending changes it shows up in my allowed Web Data Connectors. When you refresh the data sours I receive the same error as before. So is my problem with the wildcard? Is my data source is too specific?

The last question I have is about a note at the bottom of the Web Data Connector article saying that this will be deprecated in version 10.5. We're running Server Version 20194.19.1211.1636. Am I barking completely up the wrong tree?
