# Split two measure values in text table

Hi All,

I have Two measure Value like POS and Age .  And a Measure Name Branch.

How do I take the count of number of branches and put in the respective category?

Eg. Totally there are 10 branches which are less than 1 yr and Value is Less Than 2 Crores .

Finally Row total and Column total of the same.

Hi, Nithish

Do you have sample workbook so that it will be easier to understand what your question is?

 Less Than I year 1-2 Yrs. 2-3 Yrs. 3-4 Yrs. 4-5 Yrs. > 5 Yrs.

These are the Ageing Values got splitted in different category. Age 0-1 in one category , 1-2 in another category so on.

Similary POS  0-2 in one category and 2-3 in one category and so on.  We need to achieve how many branches are meeting this criteria and show the count numbers.   This is my agenda.

I don't know how to achieve this.. Help would be much appreciated.

Snapshot numbers are just reference.. Those are not exact numbers. We need to achieve exact numbers present in the data accordingly in the snapshot format.

HI NIthish,

Step 1: Create One dimension which name as 'POS(in CR)'

IF [POS]<=2 THEN

'<=2 Cr'

ELSEIF [POS]>2 and [POS]<=3 THEN

'2-3 Cr'

ELSEIF [POS]>3 and [POS]<=4 THEN

'3-4 Cr'

ELSEIF [POS]>4 THEN

'>4 Cr'

END

Step 2: Step 1: Create One dimension which name as 'Age'

IF [Ageing(inYrs)]<=1 THEN

'Less Than 1 Year'

ELSEIF [Ageing(inYrs)]>1 and [Ageing(inYrs)]<=2 THEN

'1-2 Yrs'

ELSEIF [Ageing(inYrs)]>2 and [Ageing(inYrs)]<=3 THEN

'2-3 Yrs'

ELSEIF [Ageing(inYrs)]>3 and [Ageing(inYrs)]<=4 THEN

'3-4 Yrs'

ELSEIF [Ageing(inYrs)]>4 and [Ageing(inYrs)]<=5 THEN

'4-5 Yrs'

ELSEIF [Ageing(inYrs)]>5 THEN

'>5 Cr'

END

Step 3: Drag and Drop 'Age' Dimension into Columns Section and 'POS(in CR)' Di mention into Rows Section.

Step 4: Drag and Drop 'Branch' measure into Text icon and right click on branch and select count.

Step 5: Go to Analysis menu -> Totals -> Select 'Show Row Grand Totals' and 'Show Column Grand Totals'

Step 6: Expected output as below.

Let me know if you have any issue.
