    Tableau Extension- select input options are shown in the wrong place if the tableau desktop window is moved, scrolled, or resized

      Simple test extension html with a select input:

      <html>

      <head>

      <title>Simple Tableau Extension Select Input test</title>

      </head>

      <body>

      <select>

      <option value="1">Option 1</option>

      <option value="2">Option 2</option>

      <option value="3">Option 3</option>

      </select>

      </body>

      </html>

      If the extension is loaded, then the tableau window is scrolled up, the options will open below the select.

      If the extention is loaded, and the select is opened, and the tableau window is moved while the options are showing, they don't close (like they would in a browser) and they stay in the same place- even if moved off the wiondow altogether.

      It seems like the tableau container isn't communicating events about positioning to the child window properly- or something like that.

      Has anyone else run into this issue? Are there any fixes or workarounds I can try?

      Thanks,
      Ed
