I don't believe I've ever seen that as an option. What I will do to help with that type of situation is simply not recreate the wheel. My first worksheet will be set to use 0 decimal places for a Percent of Total calculation, then I'll duplicate that sheet going forward if using the same Quick Table calc for a different view or table. Saves a little bit of time. Another method for you might be to right-click, select Edit in Shelf, copy/paste the calculation into a new calc and then set default formatting thereafter. Best, Don
This will work, but doesn't offer the effortless flow that I'm used to dealing with in working with Tableau.
I will bite the bullet and go with the second method you describe (but this will take my measures which are already too many to view easily to even more).
@Tableau, this would be a great Workbook default setting to consider!
I just created the idea. Honestly, a default setting seems so naturally Tableauish, I wanted to check with the community that I wasn't missing something before submitting the idea.
