Microsoft SQL Server Tables in Tableau

I'm not having luck using tables from a Microsoft SQL Server database as a source in Tableau. Here are the steps taken so far: 1. In Tableau Desktop, on the Start screen, under "To a Server," selected "Microsoft SQL Server." 2. In the Server box, entered the server's name. 3. In the Database box, entered the database's name. 4. Under "Use a specific username or password," entered the credentials that log me into the database when using SQL Server Management Studio and clicked "Sign in." Instead of connecting, it says the username or password is invalid. They are spelled correctly and the same as I use in SQL Server Management Studio. What might be going wrong?
