No, he doesn't, Deepak. He only gets the Saved Data Sources section of that screen.
I've seen several posts today about issues with a trial version of 2019.1. I wonder is there some kind of bug related to the license key.
There are also a bunch of issues related to Online and authentication/tabcmd problems.

John, click on the multi-color Tableau logo, or on the "Connect to Data" link instead. What you're clicking on will not contain anything until you've created a data source first.

You know, I suspect this is NOT resolved. I did a little more testing, and if I click on that same icon, I get the full Connect to Data list.

This is an issue that is currently being experienced with Tableau Desktop 2019.1 trials. A solution is currently being investigated.
As a workaround, John Flannery, please contact your Tableau Account Manager to request a new trial key to be issued. If you do not know your AM please contact Tableau Customer Service. email@example.com
