Are you using a table calc (like INDEX) to filter your sheet?
If so, that will leave all the data in the underlying table and the ranking will be done for all rows.
I have more questions than answers right now, and I really need to see your packaged workbook if I'm going to be effective helping you here.

If you can't share your data, you can anonymize your data and workbook as demonstrated in the video linked here:

Shyam Sundar Ranganathan Jan 29, 2019 3:18 PM (in response to Joe Oppelt)Hello Joe,
Yes , as you said I used Index and it applied across stores.
What I want is to chose a store from the filter and for that store, I want top 10 products based on sales. I would be happy to share but due to sensitive data , I can't share the workbook. Is it possible to suggest without the workbook?

Hack up an equivalent scenario using Superstore. Use Customer instead of Store, and Products will line up like your products.
It's the principle and structure that's important. Not your specific data. We can work with that, and then you can replicate what we figure out in Superstore into your own workbook.

I have posted a question '"Fixed Column Referencing" with the workbook. I would like to have your opinion on it.
Thanks,
Shyam
