Hi All,

i have a discharge triangle where i have to compare % of discharged with Average . As attached in the worksheet, I am comparing the % discharged with Average.

1. If % of discharged > average , then Green.

2. also, add 1% tolerance for the % difference  between % of discharged and average.

i. For example, If % of discharged is 0.01% and Average is  0.01 % then this should be green

ii. If average is less than 1% than % of discharged (8.64 % and 8.68%) then this should be green instead of red.

iii. If average is greater than 1% than % of discharged(77.93% and 81.40%) then this should be red.

Hi, Susheela

Is it something like this? If yes, please find my solution attached.

Hope this helps

Hi, Not not really. I tried this but with this calc the other side(positive side) also gets out of the range . For example, % of discharged 10.62% and Average 8.68% should be green. If % of discharged > average, then it should always be green. if Average > 1% than that of % of discharged only then it should be red.

What if you just subtract 0.01 from the rounded average (or just add 0.01 at the end, has the same mathematical effect)?  So, change your KPI calculation to appear as follows:

Will that give you the results you are targeting?  Here's the result that I am getting (and it's in the attached workbook).
