I have a table like that :
I want to show person sales trend and city sales trend in same chart. (may be one bar and another line with same chart)
But the point is ;
When I filter the chart with "person", the "city" sales are also filtered ( so both of them becomes the same result and trend)
The thing I want is, when I filter person 1, I want to see the person 1 trend with bar and also the Paris trend (unfiltered!) with line.
Is there a way to do this? With calculated field etc?
I think what you are trying to do can be done by using the Dimension in a calculation as outlined here: https://kb.tableau.com/articles/howto/filtering-view-without-filtering-underlying-data
I hope this helps.
