# Alias in IF condition

Hello,

I have a calculated field ( Default properties %)

if A>0 then 0.08 else 0.0 END

The result is either 8% or 0%.

I have such conditions for multiple calculated fields which I later Total all percentages to show a Final Score. (Therefore properties cant be changed)

But I want to display points instead of percentages. (only for display).

Eg 8 points or 0 points...

Is this possible? May be if I can edit alias to these values in the condition itself?

if [Weekly Recap]>0 then 0.08 alias 8 points else 0.0 alais 0 points END????

Thank you.

Try using:

if if A>0 then "8" else "0" END

• ###### 2. Re: Alias in IF condition

if A>0 then "8 points" else "0 points" END

• ###### 3. Re: Alias in IF condition

If the condition is such simple, you can change the number format.

Below two Number 3 and it's copy,  and calculation 1 and it's copy is same value., just changed number format.

You can still use this field for other calculation as 0 and 0.08, because these are only format only effective to this field..

You can check at above table.

Then, to put 0 points and 8 points as sting,

Thanks,

Shin

@Shinichiro What if there was a condition where I have multiple values?

If A>0, then 0.08 (8 points),

else if 100>A>50 then 0.09 (9points)

else 0.0 end

???

which custom format would work?
