Any thoughts? has this been done?

If you attached your .twbx file, we'll be able to better assist you. My first thought is to use a "Filter" action (I think the one you're showing here might be "URL"? Creating a filter action will take you to the other sheet you designate, as well as filtering the data based on the selection.
If this helps, please mark as the correct answer to assist others in finding it. Thanks!
Thank you for the response (and test workbook attached), so yes it seems to work when I input the filter as an action. However, I noticed in this example below I have test records listed by location and rolled up into this stacked bar chart. I then use a filter to the right of the screen shot "Job" to filter on the records with a specific job and to display those across the stack bar chart which it does. However, my "action filter" ignores the job filter and still provides me all the PA location records. Is their a way for an action to take into account my sheet filters in the action? (I summaries this below)
Situation 1 (Which Works): I click on one of the locations (i.e PA) and the action sends me to the list of all PA records.
Situation 2 (having issues with and screen shot below): This time I add a sheet filter "Job" and want to focus on the records I have across these locations but for only people with a "Tech" job. Even thou the records are filtered on the stacked bar chart the "action filter" sents me to my list with all jobs in the PA location. How do I get my action filter to recognize my other sheet filters?
Sorry - how do you attach a Tableau Workbook? I'm trying to drag and drop or attach - but nothing seems to be working. The only attachment options I'm seeing is video and link.
Without seeing the workbook, I think you need to go in to your action filter, edit it, and make sure in the target sheets, you have all the ones selected you want it to apply to. Below is a screen shot of what you need to do to attach a file, thanks!
Click "advanced editor" in the top right corner of the reply window
Then scroll down to the bottom of the new editor window and click "attach"
