Grouping Customers By Revenue Amounts For a Fixed Date Range

This is my first time posting, so I apologize if I'm not doing it right.

I'm at a nonprofit looking at donor gifts, so I'm trying to figure out how to calculate a donor giving total for a specific date range (like a fiscal year) and then categorizing those amounts into different tiers. I feel like I know how to do this in Excel (2018 Tier (Excel)), but when I search for how to do it in Tableau, I find forum posts that don't seem to be this exact situation. When I've tried to accomplish this in Tableau ("2018 Tier (Tableau), gift totals are not summed for each donor ID, so I can end up with a donor ID at different tiers if they gave more than one gift in the date range.

I'm attaching a packaged workbook with dummy data. I'm also attaching an Excel spreadsheet that includes some formulas (in yellow) that are essentially what I'm trying to duplicate in Tableau. Is this possible without custom SQL?
