When I follow the link, there are no drivers for me to download. In fact, the message says that I do not need to download drivers if my bit versions match between tableau and access. I confirmed that they do match.
Here is the link for the driver downloads: Driver Download | Tableau Software
Make sure you fill out the filter items that match your system (here's mine):
If installing the driver (and then rebooting, just to make sure) still gives you the same error message then try saving the db in a local folder, like C:\temp.
Make sure no one is using the db.
Make sure you actually have READ permission in the file location.
I tried your driver link, but it does the same as the link in the error message. After filling out the filters, there are no drivers to download. The message from Tableau also says I do not need to download drivers because my bit versions match. See attached screenshot. I tried moving database from desktop to c:\temp but that gave same error. I created the database on my local pc as a test run, so no one else has access to it, and I definitely have full access.

Install the drivers anyway. That's what I would do.
You and Jim were right. I installed the 32 bit driver, and when it asked about whether I wanted to uninstall, or reinstall/repair, I chose the latter. Then when asked about reinstall or repair I chose repair and that did the trick. I asked Tableau to update their driver page to remove the note about not needing to install drivers if your bit version matched between Tableau and Access (since mine were both 64 bit and I still got error).
Glad to help out
Cool, glad that worked
