# Calculate a date and display the day value.

Hello,

I would like some help to do something.

I have a big data set with different values for each day. I simplified it :

I have created a dashboard with 3 calculated fields. Now I try to display the price of yesterday, one week ago and one month ago. It is the equivalent of the excel function vlookup but I don't understand how to proceed with tableau.  I find a solution but I don't want to duplicate the sheet . It is a dynamic table because each day, we have different dates.

Thanks a lot fot your help

I already tried to use a date filter. But it is not possible to have 3 different filters , is it?

I need 3 filters :

- yesterday

- one week

- one month

Have you tried relative date filter?

Yes I have tried. It works but I can't choose 3 different dates.

I want this table at the end. It's to follow price evolution.

Your method works for one date but I don't know how to have this synthesis view.

I believe you need to create a Calculated field and used as a filter

You field would look like this.

or [Date field = DATEADD('week',-1,[Fiscal Period Date])

or

[ Date field ]= DATEADD('month',-1,[Fiscal Period Date])

Here you go.

IF

ELSEIF

ELSEIF

END

I don't have data for last month so getting null.
