# Calculated field

need help how to perform this calculation if Date type = 201801 to posting year 201801 take the last amt and match to the corresponding posting year and give a zero if it doesn't match give the difference.

IF([Date Type]=[Posting Year]

Example on the second line 201806 \$36 will match up to the 201806 column \$36 and net it to zero.  Does that help?

Example

If Date type 201806 (line 2) Last amount paid is \$36 and on the right it should match with the 201806 -\$36 and give a result of \$0.00.  The Date Type is a calculated field from a date which now gives YYYYMM so it matches to the column headings.  When I try to make it a string it gives me nulls.  Any help is greately appreciated.
