# No. of Jobs before and after number of records side by side chart

I've three measure values:

1. No of Jobs Before (Column)

2. No. of Jobs Now (Column)

3. Number of records (Created by Tableau)

What I'm trying to see is a side by side bar chart using the total number records to see the how much the number of records are increased by. I'm trying to create something like this:

The problem is that three of them are measure values but even if I convert them to dimension the Sum(Number of records) show the same height and value for both bars.

you have some fake dataset so that help can be provided?

The data set is number like:

Total No. of Jobs Before: 0, 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 2, 1, 3, 5, 6, 4, 3

Total No. of Jobs After: 1, 3, 4, 0, 4, 2, 7, 4, 2, 4, 3, 1

I'm applying the filter on both like selecting only 0.

not like this,as you say you have columnar data. We need that may be fake but columns.

So, to clarify, does your data look something like this?

If so, you could build a view like this in Tableau:

See attached.

I got this thank you for this. but I am also applying filter for example only where number is zero. I'm sorry if it's not clear from my question this is my very first question in this forum.

So in that case, you first pivot your data, create view like Ken Created and then use filter for 0
