Load balancer (classic) on AWS with tableau server

I am trying to configure tableau to use a load balancer on AWS.

Tableau is running fine and if I navigate to the IP of the server directly I get the login page.

      i.e. https://<1.2.3.4>:8850 works

The issue seems to be when I set the AWS load balancer to sit in front of the server.

The health checks to the tableau server fail from the load balancer side.

I set the load balancer to have health checks to use the HTTPS protocol, on port 8850 and test the /login url.

      i.e.

      HTTPS:8850/

I ensured the security groups allow access from the load balancer to the AWS ec2 instance.

Is there some other thing I have to do in tableau to allow loadbalancer access?
