    Combine excel columns to SQL server both need to be aggregated

      I have two types of data: 1) Monthly work hours 2) Sum of counts.  I sum the count data by month and have a 24 month rolling chart.  I do the same with the work hours data but I also need a calculated field so that I can have a monthly safety incident rate by department. Trouble is count data is from SQL and the work hours data is from excel unequal rows and the department names are slightly different DIV 04000 vs 04000. Any help? Can't post workbook due to proprietary reasons.
