1) Change Sort Order to a dimension.
2) Drag Sort Order to the rows shelf, all the way to the left. It should be the first pill on the shelf.
3) Right click on the pill and select "Show Header". This will hide the column, but it will still be there in the background and will control the sort order.
Thanks Ken. I can see how this could affect the sort order in the crosstab but I mainly want to change the sort order of the columns which are controlled by the parameter. Any ideas on how to control the order of the columns?
Which columns are controlled by the parameter? I was confused there because I couldn't see anything changing when the parameter was changed.
The breakdown calculation columns are controlled by the parameter. In the image above the parameter is set to "Gender" so the final columns in the crosstab show: Female, Male, Prefer not to say. Really appreciate your help with this!
Still hopeful that Ken or someone else can help me with this. Any ideas about how to get these dynamic columns to be in the right sort order? See more info in earlier posts.
