Any chance you could work up a mock-up of your data for us to work with?
Sure. I've updated the original post.
The problem is that each point on the line needs data associated with it, but in those cases where you have only one record, there is only one data point. There may be other ways to do this, but here's a hacky solution:
1) Perform a self-union of the data to itself (go back to the data source tab and drag Sheet 1 over to create a union. This will double each record, which will allow us to create the end point of the lines, when needed.
2) Create the following calculated field:
IF [Table Name]="Sheet 1" THEN
IF ISNULL([End Dt]) THEN
3) Change your view to use this date field.
4) Filter out any NULL values in the calculated field.
