    Continuous date using Start Date

I need to show a 1 year and 3 year price trend for products in a market. I was given a start date and end date in an excel file extract. I'm only using the start date for simplicity. I wanted to know if there was a way to show a continuous line (instead of dot) for the prices. The idea is that if there is no other start date, the price is still the same.

What is the best way to go about this? I was trying to create a calculated field "today() - start date " but I need it to be in years.
