You should always use the connector that goes with your database for the best experience. In this case the MySQL connector is almost identical to the Aurora connector. If you have existing workbooks or datasources there's probably no need to change them. However if you create new ones you should use Aurora. They could diverge in the future.
Thanks a lot. They seem to be using the same drivers, so wanted to see if there are internal optimizations (councurrency etc) that are known.
