I'd suggest submitting this to Tableau support to "officially" inform Tableau of the bug. Though a lot of support is done on these forums it's primarily done by volunteers from the community, not Tableau staff.
Do you mean there is a forum/dedicated area to post bugs or do you mean I should set up a case? I wish documentation was clearer for these things and the company was not so reliant on these kind of forums and the unpaid work that people are doing to support the company.
