Hi,I am trying to reproduce the k-means clustering example from the tutorial on integrating R and Tableau (https://www.tableau.com/learn/tutorials/on-demand/using-r-within-tableau?product=tableau_desktop&version=tableau_desktop_2018_2&topic=calculations)
The problem I am running into is actually to do with generating the original scatter graphs of the petal attributes in Tableau (original sheet name 'Iris Clusters', my attmept to reproduce called 'Iris Clusters trial').
The data is supplied without an ID column so in order to see the data at the level of detail of each example, I have to change to a dimension.
But doing this stops the clustering calculated field from working.
What am I missing?
You may want to disaggregate Measures on a view
(as it has been done on the original Iris Clusters one)
by setting the flag (in the TD main menu)
Analysis --> Aggregate Measures to OFF:
Besides, the [Clusters] is a Table Calculation,
so it should be addressed properly --
using all of the Dimensions on a view
as a single addressing window:
