    Allow a user to choose how view is filtered

      I have a table of charges linked to a value table on fields A and B.  The values table has an 'Is Current' boolean field, and each record has an effective and expiration dates.  I want to allow the user to choose if they want to see the current value of the charges (where Is Current = TRUE) or the value based off of a date field in the charges table, where this date is greater than the values effective date but less than the values expiration date.  I am calling this the Current value vs.  the value at the date of service.  I'm not sure how to present this on a worksheet to allow the user to choose?  I just want a drop down to ask if they want the current value or value at dos, not sure how to ask they user what type of filter they want to apply?
