    Unlink Duplicated Sheets

    Kristen Kaufman

My question is: Is there a way to unlink duplicated dashboard/sheets from the original, so that when I edit the new sheet the changes are not universal across all copies of that sheet and all dashboards, but rather localized to the duplicated sheet and the accompanying duplicated dashboard?

The reason is that I'm creating numerous reports with redacted comparisons. The data and visuals are the same, but when I change axes to redact certain names specific to each report, the changes occur across all dashboards and sheets.

I'm 'duplicating' by copy and pasting the original dashboard, which also duplicates the accompanying sheets for each copy. Is there a different way to duplicate that will not give me this problem?  I'm a new Tableau user, so apologies if this is something basic.
