Are you still experiencing this error message? If so I would open a case with the Tableau Support team and include the Tableau Server logs as well as the version of Tableau Server being used.

(Correcting my answer) Hi Joe,
1. Installing Tableau on different drives in nodes/workers will work but Tableau suggested that they will not support if any issue arises.
2. Did you run the obliterate command? If not stop the Tableau. Uninstall then run the obliterate command. Then reinstall
