Bump/Rank Chart filter by top 5

I am trying to create a rank chart in tableau and it works just fine but I want my chart to show only the top 5 values of the last month. For example - we ask 16 different survey questions every month from January to July. Every month the rank of the responses changes based on the changes to the product i.e, price was a big factor in June but its not in top 5 in July. Is there a way to filter out the top 5 responses only for the month of july?

I tried the filter option to select top 5 but it doesnt do it correctly and my best guess is Tableau doesn't know that I need top 5 responses only for the month of July because there is no place to specificy it. I have attached pictures of what it looks like and what it should look like in blue.
