    Linux Datasource Issues

    Luke Kennedy

      Hi,

      We are currently in the process of migrating our Windows Tableau Server to Red Hat Linux and we've encountered an issue when connecting to SQL Server that we are unable to solve.  We followed the steps in the online guide below;

      https://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/server-linux/en-us/kerberos_runas_linux.html

      We have installed and configured all the drivers mentioned here;

      https://downloads.tableau.com/drivers/linux/yum/tableau-driver/tableau-freetds-1.00.40-1.x86_64.rpm

      Each time we attempt to run a live connection, we receive the error 'Adaptive Server Connection Failed'.  See attachments which show the steps we ran and the resulting output.  There are no firewalls running on either end (Linux or SQL Server), just for testing purposes.

      I have also tested the freetds drivers directly from the Linux server and I was able to connect as long I as supplied a username/password.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Cheers
