I believe there is no need to perform running total for taking total users and total followers.
If the user and followers column is string then Countd(followers)/Countd(Registered Users)
If the users and followers column having integer numbers then SUM(Followers)/SUM(Registered Users)
Thanks for the response. This could be done if both of these table in one file. But, I have two different files for both of these records.
Note: Sorry I forgot to mention that in my question.
If you have common field on both tables, you can write SQL query to combine both tables to one datasource.
Tableau have Connect to a Custom SQL Query to directly paste the query with dbserver information to get resultant table as datasource.
Tableau also support cross joins to combine or join tables Join Your Data
I am aware of this. But, I need to check for 10 different tables. Do you think it good to write a query for all tables and union them would be a better option?
Yes. you can bring all 10 tables with union on SQL query(Views would be faster) and take resultant table to tableau would be the best option. Set incremental refresh on SQL query refresh settings if the tables will get appended with new data.
