We are currently working along side a customer who is wanting to issue out Tableau reporting to their own customers via their own software. They have raised a question as to how they can monitor or stop user licence login abuse. IE: Who is to stop a site buying, for example a 5 users licence and then sharing each others username and passwords amongst other members of staff
Is there a way to stop this from happening, or at the very least be able to monitor who has logged in and from what device (via IP address).
This issue at the moment is stopping our client from moving forward with their project
Many thanks
