How to link my own upper and lower confidence intervals around a point estimate

    Joseph Ward

      Dear Tableau People

I would like to create a scatter plot for percentage of deaths by a measure for performance (good / moderate / bad) by three different indicators (ESN / PaedExp / terpaed). I would then like to link the upper and lower confidence intervals for each estimate with a vertical line. I have calculated these limits using poisson distribution in stata and imported in to tableau.

As you will see from the attached workbook, I have plotted the estimate, and upper and lower confidence intervals as a scatter plot (sheet 1). How would I connect the upper and lower limits with a line? - when I try to do this it connects each group, rather than just giving me a vertical line (sheet 2).

I would be very grateful for any help

      Best Wishes

      Joe
