# Calculated field

Hi Guys,

So I have some data in the below format:

I'm trying to create a calculated field that would identify the lowest Multiplier value(Highlighted in Red ) for an individual product.  How do I achieve this ?

for eg Product 1 it is proficient group 1B and the multiplie is 0.2846 is what i'm trying to display

Hi Thanushree

A calculation like {FIXED [ProductID] : MIN(Multiplier)} should identify the line with the lowest multiplier, per product.

Regards

Stefan

Well this only displays the min multiplier values for all the products which is wrong.

I'm trying to find out the min for each Description

In that case you can add description to the calculation, so {FIXED [ProductID], [Description] : MIN(Multiplier)}. This will return the lowest multiplier per product, per description.

Hi,

Here's another way to do it, see if this works

Hope this helps.

Note: Next time please attach a sample workbook for us to work with, I spent more time on creating the sample data.

Best,

Shiva.

Thanks for the reply Shiva.

I've attached an excel file for my question now.

I did try Window_Min() calculation ,the following is what I got.

Here the problem is it replaces the value of the other skills to the min multipler value instead I'm trying to retain  only the skill with the min value in the view.

Can you help me out with this?

Thank You.

Hi, I'm not sure I follow you, in my screenshot nothing's being replaced though? Isn't that what you're trying to get? Or am I missing something?

Could you post your workbook with what you have?
