    Compare Results of 2 Expressions

    Stephen Groff

I'm trying to figure out how to compare the results of 2 expressions.

Expression 1: Gives me a list of completed machines

Expression 2: Gives me a list of machines that went through a quality gate and a defect was found

I need another calculation that compares the 2 results.

The question:  Out of the machines that were completed, how many serial numbers DID NOT have a defect at the Quality Gate?

      Something like:

IF [Completed Machines] serial numbers are NOT found in the list of [Quality Gate Defects] THEN 1 ELSE 0 END

I don't know how to write that calculation.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I cannot attached the workbook, I apologize.

          Hello Stephen,

          You can try below logic:

          1. Completed Machine? =

IF STARTSWITH([FA DESC],"PDI") THEN TRUE ELSE FALSE END

          2. Quality Gate Defects ?

IF ISNULL([Disposition]) AND [CA_ID] <> '0_DEFECTS' AND NOT STARTSWITH([EVENT DESC],"0")  AND [FA ID]='300' and [Q/V]='Q' THEN TRUE ELSE FALSE END

          3. Flag:

[Completed Machine?]= TRUE AND [Quality Gate Defects ? ] = TRUE

Drag "Flag" to filter and select "TRUE".
