I have a data set which has accurate Customer Age data for 2017, but inaccurate Spend data.
And accurate Spend data for 2016, but in-accurate for 2017.
So - from the same data source - I need to show Customer Age 2017 vs Customer Spend 2016.
Of course applying a date filter will filter the full data so will block out the other data I need - I hope that makes sense!
So I need a way, in the same visualisation, to bring through the Age data for 2017 and spend data for 2016 and plot them against each other.
Is there any way that I can do this?
You could try bringing the data in twice using a union:
1. 2017 Customer Age data
2. 2016 Spend data
From your description it doesn't sound like you need this level of complexity, but this post from another tool explains the theory behind to building a Date Bridge (Canonical date).
