# Unweighted Average LOD Question

Hi,

I am trying to work out an LOD that will give me an unweighted averaged.  In Table 2 below, I am looking to bring back the average of the '% of Total' column in table 1 so in essence the figure should be 33.33%.

Can anyone help?

Siobhan

Hi

I'm not certain I understand the question - are you just counting the number of distinct brand and dividing by the total brands?

that would return

Jim

Hi Jim,

No, in essence I need to calculate an average of an average.  In my example it would be (43.75+34.38+21.88)/3 = 33.33%; it is just a coincidence that your total matches what I'm looking for!

Does that make sense?

Thanks,

Siobhan

Not sure if this helps explain it any further?  I need to calculate the figure in yellow basically.
