Creating Waterfall Chart for Multiple Months [Dynamic]

      Hello!

Currently, I have a dataset with dates ranging from April 2017 to August 2018 (Financial year starts from April).

I am trying to calculate the difference between FY2018 and FY2019 and present the differences using a waterfall chart based on country.

The problem is that for FY2018, I have data from April 2017 to March 2018 but for FY2019, I only have data from April 2018 to August 2018. If I sum the data by using Fiscal Year = 'FY2018' or 'FY2019', the difference will not be representative. Thus, I am wondering if there is a way for me to only compare the total difference between months present in both FY2018 and FY2019. E.g. April 2017 to August 2017 versus April 2018 to August 2018. However, I will need it to be dynamic meaning that when I add the September 2018 data, the difference will be between April 2017 to September 2017 versus April 2018 to September 2018. I did try using parameters but only managed to come up with a single month comparison.

I know this sounds confusing so please find the tableau workbook attached! Thanks in advance!
