    Swapping between two continuous measures

    Jered Van Ecklstreck

So I've done a search and wanted to know how to swap between two measures on a map e.g. they all have the same regions and states, the only two measures I want to toggle between are Store-Based Profit and Total Profit (Yes, these are two completely separate measures each having their own column).

I've tried following the many guides of creating a parameter and a calculated field, and it all works fine except when I say 'Show Filter', it doesn't let me choose between Store-Based Sales or Total Sales, but instead the dollar amounts on a slider. I've tried converting from a continuous measure to a discrete measure and that didn't work either, it still only wants to filter the dollar amounts rather than between the two variables.

I've followed this guide and read many other posts and nothing seems to fix this. https://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/help.htm#parameters_swap.html

      Thank you
