    Adding points to filled maps

    Jen Biundo

I'm have two separate maps in Tableau Public, one of which is a filled map showing rates by county, and another map showing the counts of clinics in counties. However, I'd like one map with the points over the filled shape and I'm having the hardest time trying to join them together.

I'm using the generated lat/long for the county rates. I have the clinic location data a few different ways -- I generated a count of clinics by county in the same spreadsheet as the rate data, and also have address and county data for the clinics. Ideally, I'd like to do an overlay of sized circles to show the number of clinics in a county but I can't seem to find a way to keep the filled map with the point overlay.

I can't figure out how to attach the workbook, but the map is here on Tableau Public.

      Thanks for any help!
