    Selectively Merge  Databases

    Marc Smith

I have a several databases that I would like to selectively merge. As I am new to Tableau I am not sure what the best approach for that would be or if Tableau is the best platform for that. I would like this to be as user friendly as possible. I would like the user to be able to select a base in the case below Main 1. Then the user should be able to make additions or subtractions to Main 1.

      Additions:

      1) Select requirement from database. Then user should select all customer names this should apply to

      2) New requirement that is not in database. The user should be able to add a new requirement and select all relationships and customer names this should apply to

      Subtractions:

      1) Select any requirements from Main 1 that should be taken out. The user should be able to specify for what customer names the requirement should be taken out

I am not sure if this can all be built out in form of a dashboard in Tableau.

Any suggestions / ideas would be greatly appreciated!!!
