Looks a bit like a "sunburst" that you can see here: Workbook: Visual Vocabulary
A walk-through on building one is here: Sunbursts in Tableau: One Pivot, One Join, & Three Simple Calculations – THE DATAISM
.. but really, 99% of this seems static, with maybe just the inner circles changing with the date. If I had to, I would just use a background image (via map menu) and then a radial plot to align the circles.
But ... just my thoughts, I don't think the original infogarphic works.
- I hate tilting my head to read
- I don't see a value in making it a circle
- A simple listing like the cover of the book "Information Dashboard Design" seems easier to understand
Agree with Jason Scarlett on this one. At first glance, people might think it's a 'pretty' infographic / dashboard (in my mind it's more a dashboard than infographic), however when you start to use it, it breaks down quickly. I'd think a simple quadrant style viz would be useful - you could break it up by strategy or by target status. data/ink ratio on the current viz is too far off (too much ink).
