Dear Tableau Community
I would like to create a box plot of a change admission rate for different hospitals, showing the mean difference between two time points, and the 95% confidence interval around this estimate.
I have been doing the analysis in stata, and the 95% confidence intervals it comes up with are different from those in tableau - yes anybody know why this is?
I have attached one of the graphs -
the 95% confidence interval around the mean (0.118) in tableau is 0.298 to -0.063
the 95% confidence interval reported by stata around the mean is 0.286 to -0.05
on a separate note - how do you remove the tables for "average" and "95 confidence interval" on these graphs?
I am getting CI (0.286,-0.05) for 93.5% . Are you sure Stata calculated it for 95 %?
Also, for removing labels like Average or 95 Confidence Interval , you can change Label to Value or create your custom label:
