# Calculating number of distinct callers

I have data where callers have called in and reported one of two problems. [Sample Attached]

What I need is a visualization where I can see how many users called once, how many called twice and so on...

Something like this: I need an option to see this for one problem at a time or more. (Hope putting problem in filter would work)

Also, How do I create a visualization where I can show the total number of calls [sum of records? (200*1+150*2+100*3+50*4+25*5)] , the number of distinct callers [sum of each row?  (25+50+100+150+200)]  and the number of users who called more than once [ distinct - 200 ?] ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot, Naveen! It worked like a charm.

I have one question though. Could you possibly elaborate on how you used the 'Times Called' field?

How is it working and what was your thought process there?

I have taken the granularity of Customer ID and considered the NUMBER OF Records

if one customer called only once then it will give 1,

If Customer called twice for that Customer it will give 2

based on the O/P value you will get the desired result since your calculation @CustomeriD level

Great!

Just FYI, to make the correct numbers show up on the chart using my client data, I had to select the 'Problem' filter and select 'Add to Context'. Any idea why that was necessary?

Yes Check the Tableau Order of Operations Concept Fixed will work after context and before dimension filters
