    Question about hiding measures

    Javier Trivino

      Dear forum:

I have 2 views (sheets) that are sourced from the same data. For each measure (which is a count) I have created a calculated field that corresponds to each measure's average. Example:

        #measureA

      =#meaureA-AVG

        #measureB

      =#meaureB-AVG

        #measureC

      =#meaureC-AVG

In one view (sheet) , I want to display counts only and in another I want to display averages only. I want the measures in the count view to display the original measures in the measures filter shelf:

        #measureA

        #measureB

        #measureB

... and in the averages view, I want the measures filter shelf to display only the calculated fields:

      =#meaureA-AVG

      =#meaureB-AVG

      =#meaureC-AVG

I decided to hide the measures I didn't want to be present, so in the count view I hid the average calculated fields but I found out that they get hidden in the average view as well.

If I hide the count measures in the average view, they also get hidden in the count view.

It seems to me that happens because they are sourced from the same data source. If so, is there a way to hide measures independently ? some hidden in once view and some hidden in the other?

      Thanks.

      Javier.
