Pl attach some workbook to help you.
Unfortunately it's not possible to attach a workbook.
Imagine I have a data table with 5 dimensions - record ID, Date 1a, Date 1b, Date 2a and Date 2b. I simply want to highlight any record where Date 1a and Date 1b differ (preferably highlighting the dates), and the same for Date 2a and Date 2b.
I've created some mock data and attached a workbook with an example of a potential solution. I created calculated columns to find the difference between the dates, then chose to display the measure names as columns and the measure values as text. Let me know how you go.
Conditional Date Formatting.twbx 27.1 KB
IF Date1a <> Date1b
"Highlight Date 1a and 1b"
elseif date2a <> date2b
"higlight Date 2a and 2b"
this will help but how to want to show is the big question. As Deepak said it would be great if you attach a sample workbook with mockup data would be lot more helpful to solve the problem
Thanks Sam, but I'm wanting to only show the date columns, and highlight them if they're different.
I've created a calculated field to filter them, but was curious to see if I could use that calculated field to colour the date dimensions columns.
