Dan Cory Aug 22, 2018 10:29 AM (in response to Allison Long)See attached.
I used a table calculation to calculate the difference.
It's a bit tricky because you wanted a negative change on the left and a positive change on the right.

2. Re: Issues with calculating net change over 5 years
Allison Long Aug 22, 2018 11:10 AM (in response to Dan Cory)Thanks for responding Dan, but something about this is still confusing to me.
The orange bit needs to be 2022 Jobs 2017 Jobs. So for instance for Construction, the orange segment should be 530 instead of 2885. Or is the label just wrong? The segment looks like it takes up the correct amount of space to be 530, but when I hover over it the label says "Jobs Difference Along Year: 2,885".
What is also strange is that when I hover over manufacturing the number is correct. Perhaps something to do with it being the only negative value?
3. Re: Issues with calculating net change over 5 years
Dan Cory Aug 22, 2018 11:20 AM (in response to Allison Long)I added a separate calculation for the tooltip.
Because you want the negative on the left and the positive on the right, I'm using the original values and drawing them on top of each other. That's why the values you were seeing weren't what you expected.
