Did you have the excel file or extract from this datasouce that you can change with this datasource down?
What type of database connection is it? You should be able to cancel out of the login/loading screen which will display the dashboad/worksheet unavailable message.
Once you have this you can load another data source and then right click on the error'd data source and choose 'replace data source' to replace with your new one.

Are you in a position to replicate the data-source as an excel ?
For example if your DB is an Oracle DB , do you have older dumped excel files ?

The data source contains 3 sqlserver databases joined together .
Of these connections one of them (database) failed and there is no way to proceed with the other two within the same data source.
i cannot replace the database within the data source tab as it does not allow me to view it.
I am stuck having to redo the entire workbook to make this work .
