# Count Customer with only 1 sales

Hi Team,

My data is similar to the below one:

I want to find the customer name with only one sale. I dont want the customer name having multiple sales.

eg: Darrin Van Huff ,Sean O'Donnell, Irene Maddox, etc. with only one sales to be counted.

Once i get the count i want to how the percentage of per region for those customers who has done only one Sales.

Output:

APAC : X%

NAM : Y%

IMK : Z%

Regards,

Raiyan.

Hi Raiyan,

Create  a calculated field like below

IF {FIXED [CUSTOMER NAME]:SUM(NUMBER OF RECORDS)}=1

then

Sales

else

NULL

end

1) Drag Region to rows

2) Drag the calculated field to text in marks section now you can see region wise customer who had done one time sale

3) Click on Measure --> Quick table Calculation --> Percent of total

4) Now your view out all the total regions who had mad one sales in % per region

Hope this helps kindly mark this answer as correct/helpful so that it will help others

Hi Naveen,

Thanks for the quick response.

I have one doubt regarding the calculated field.

IF {FIXED [CUSTOMER NAME]:SUM(NUMBER OF RECORDS)}=1

The number of records are 1 for all the customers, then how your calculation will check for customers with only one sales?

Hi,

Find my approach below. Create a calculated field

% of Customer 1x per Region:

{FIXED [Region]:COUNTD(

IF {FIXED [Region],[Customer Name]:COUNT([Customer Name])}=1 THEN [Customer Name] END)}/

{FIXED [Region]:COUNTD([Customer Name])}

Drag your region field and above calculated field in canvas and check. Let us know if this help.

Take an example of Claire Gute

{FIXED [CUSTOMER NAME]:SUM(NUMBER OF RECORDS)}

for claire gute it will give result as

Claire Gute - 2 Number of records since your data set has 2 rows for claire like this it will work
