If I am getting you, I dont think that is possible to include a graph in a legend.
Although there are couple of ways you can tell what the graph represent- firstly using annotations, secondly using a dashboard you can attach/screenshot a small part of your graph as an image long with its purpose.

You can't do this with the built-in legends, but what if you created another worksheet and built your legend there. For instance, I created the following scatterplot where the shape indicates the product Segment and the color indicates the customer Category.
I then built the following legend worksheet:
Then I brought them together on a dashboard.
