Here, you can not use a normal filter with Customer (='Cust2'), since it will filtered our a quarter which have no value.
Instead, you need to use a filter with table calculation ( index() ), which has no effect to dimension. Please see the picture which shows filter order.
So, Build a calculated field: index()=2, put it in filter, you will get it.

Thanks Michael for this work around. But i want to give flexibility to user to choose customer in real time project. Here i see index is used to select customer. How do I give that flexibility as my customer list is very huge.

You can use a parameter to give flexibility of the customer selection. Please see the workbook and screen shot.
Thanks for continuous support. The customer list provided here is just sample. Actual dataset has thousands of customer names whose names doesn't have numbers.
And this gets updated as and when there is a new customer added. The method suggested may not work with the actual dataset.
