The alert looks at all the data in the view, so will trigger if anything meets the threshold. A way to get around this is to build a separate view with just the most recent date, then set the alert to send the workbook with the full graph each time it is triggered.
maybe was the way that you choose the condition.

Thanks for the response,I guess you are right, the alert looks at the entire view rather than the most recent data, I did create a separate sheet with most recent data and kept that view on my current dashboard, but the problem is once the alert is triggered , I get the snapshot of the entire workbook including my small chart too, which I have hidden, is there a way to overcome this, since I want to create multiple alerts but don't want to create separate views for each alert.
